ISL Electronic Dataplate

The ISL engine has an on-board electronic identification system. The Electronic Dataplate is used to store critical equipment, engine, and customer information. The equipment and engine parameters determine part content and warranty coverage. This information can also be used to assess whether the equipment is affected by any current campaigns or updates. It is even beneficial in the identification of stolen equipment.

Customer parameters are used in the engine operation and maintenance reports. If these parameters are missing or invalid, they should be corrected immediately. They can be reprogrammed with authorized Cummins service tools.
